A quick Sweden travel search will pull up the most well-known things to do and see.  Some less well-known recommendations are:

Partake in National Cinnamon Bun Day.  

Visit and stay in the Swedish archipelago.  

Visit a Swedish castle.  Our favorite is Gripsholm.  

To taste Swedish delicacies both foraged and made, visit Ostermalms Hallen in Stockholm.  

If you have kids, and even if you don't, no one does child-like creativity and wonder like the Swedes.  One of our favorite places in Stockholm is Junibaken.
